The YEL project, a European initiative focused on empowering youth in energy leadership, recently concluded its second successful Transnational Project Meeting in Riga, Latvia. Held on May 22nd and 23rd, 2024, the meeting brought together project partners from across Europe for a collaborative exchange.
Planning and Progress Share the Stage
The agenda tackled both future planning and progress updates. Partners delved into the development of the “Youth Energy Labs Guide,” a crucial resource slated for release later this year. This guide will equip youth workers and young people with the necessary tools to navigate the project’s energy labs.
Shaping the Future: Youth Take Centre Stage
Looking ahead, partners actively participated in a workshop designed to shape the project’s upcoming communication and awareness campaign, scheduled to launch in early 2025. Additionally, the meeting addressed the structure and activities of the energy labs themselves, ensuring a strong foundation for youth engagement.
